James  McCarthy 1951-1969, was struck  by a car as he  walked  home  from  the  Oyster  Ballroom  in Dromkeen, Co. Limerick.  He was the  son  of  Ellen ( Nellie )  McCarthy  and  the  grandson  of  Denis ( Den )  McCarthy  1896-1971  & his wife  Kate  Beary  ( 1896  -  )  whom  all  three  were  also  interred  at this memorial  though  their  names  are  not  recorded.  James  McCarthy's  brother  Michael  McCarthy (1954-1990) is interred  at  memorial  LI-OPLS-436 in  Old  Pallas  cemetery,  Co. Limerick  on the  historicgraves website
