Erected by Catherine Commerford alias Prendergast Oldtown in memory of her beloved husband Stephen Commerford who died 15th May 1847 aged 66 yrs. Aslo her son Thos Commerford who died 22nd June 1847 aged 17 yrs. Also her daughter Margaret who died 6th May 1851 aged 17 yrs. May they rest in peace Amen
