The upper portion of the slab has been cut down for paving. A plain line survives along the top of the stone. The lettering is in false relief and is in block capitals. Some letters are conjoined and the words are separated in most cases by indented stops (9 examples) and in two cases by lozenges in false relief. Probably a R.S..
