Here lye the remains of Samuel Grace Esqr one of the/herrifs of this town and hearth money Collector of the district who died 17th Novr 1782 esteeemed and regrtted by a numerous acquaintance and whose humanity to the poor will be long remember*1 In duteous memory of him his widow caused this to be inscribed Also his Wife Catherine Grace alias Frazer who Departed this life on the 12th of April 1801 Aged 63 Years And their Daughter Catherine Grace who Depd this life on the 20th March 1837 in the 67 Year of her Ase
This large R.S. is deeply Inc'd. and has a slightly curved top. All around its edges is an Inc'd. border. Inside this is a border of lozenges carved in light false relief. The general condition of the stone is fairly good. See also No. 146 for another Frazer.
