A H.S. and surround made of granite with a cross-base which is inset with a plaque and cross of white marble. TU% lop, (which held a white marble cross) is broken off. Inc'd. Ins. on a white marble panel attB&hed to the base. The surround for the grave is made up of three pieces of granite, two long side pieces and an end piece. Each of these have lozenge-shaped holes, which were leaded and which, held railings. The entire kerb has been moved inwards. Nearby are two fragments of a white marble cross which is inscribed with the words "[RESU]RRECTION" and "THE LIFE". The latter is a loose fragment of the white marble cross which is set in a granite base at die head of the grave. See also No. 75 for another Smith.
