A Rect. R.S. with Inc'd. Ins. and border. Some of the words are in Italics. The lower third of the stone is badly cracked. Uncovered in 1991. For another Fraser see also No. 354. Colonel Simon Fraser (1765-1803), Jane's husband was a Lieutenant Colonel in the British Army and is perhaps best remembered for his brutal crushing of the 1798 insurrection in Mayo.
