A bow-topped H.S.. The top is broken away and the stone is now recumbent. The stone itself is very worn. The Ins. is Inc'd. with the "IE" of "IERE" and "TIE" joined. The "O" of "NORDIN" has been incised over the letter "A" (or an inverted letter "V") where the stone mason made a mistake. An early example of a H.S.. (See also the Merrik stone No. 64 for another example [dated 1666]).
