This tomb is erected by Mr MICHAEL POTTER/ Of this city in memory of his wife Mrs MARY/ POTTER alias Browne who departed this/ Life 20th October 1887 aged 61 years with/ Six of her children who died young/ also her Grandson W Mar---- aged 8 yrs/ here also lies the remains of the above/ named Mr MICHAEL POTTER who died 21st/ April 1819 aged 73 years May They Rest in Peace
Chest tomb comprising a rectangular inscribed cover-slab with moulded edges over six fluted legs. There are brick panels between the legs. The bricks are stamped 'Athy Brick and Tile Co. Ltd.' Both of the western corners are damaged.
