Here lies the Body of Thomas/ Murphy Son of James Murphy of/ High St. he died June 23rd/ 1806 Aged 6 yrs. Here Also lies the/ Body of Mrs. Mary Murphy al. Shan/non Mother of the above Thos. Murphy/ with five of her children, She died Feb/ 25th 1821 age 38 Years/ also the body of Mr. James Murphy/ who died July 27th 1822 aged 44 yrs.

Inscribed headstone with rounded central feature and concave shouldered top. Within a circular sunburst is an IHS surrounded by a scalloped circle. On each side of the central design there is a panel with a rounded top containing a chalice. Beneath the sunburst there is a scroll with 'Gloria in excelsis deo' incised.
