Here lies interred the remains/ of Hampden Hely of Foulkscourt Esq./ who departed this life/ the 1st of January 1814/ aged fifty six years./ He was an active upright and conscientious/ Magistrate./ As a member of Society/ he was Hospitable, benevolent and charitable./ As a Christian/ he was pious and religious./ An affectionate husband/ a tender parent/ a sincere friend./ Here also lie intered the remains of his beloved wife Anne/ Hely who departed this life the aged 33 years/ also their youngest child J---who died in Dublin/ the 8th Jan 1821 aged eleven years./ Here also are interred the remains of Catherine/ Hely Daughter of the above named Hampden and /Anne Hely who died May 1812 aged 35 years /and Richard Hely of Little ----/Their son who died/ 3rd May 1832 aged 25 years.
Chest tomb of rectangular inscribed cover-slab above paneled sides bearing decoration of urns with flames incised. The inscription is mostly legible but has badly eroded in parts.
