In loving memory of my dear mother
Margaret Helsham, wife of the late Major Arthur Helsham, the Kilkenny Fusiliers,
and of Leggettsrath, the only daughter of the late Colonel John Enery
of Ballyconnell House, co Cavan
she departed this life 18 Feb 1866
Her remains are laid in the burial ground of St. Johns, near Exmouth

This tablet is placed here by request of her affectionate son,
Edward Helsham, who departed this life 17 August 1889 at St Leonard-on-sea
