The obituary of Christopher Penny reads as follows :

The death has occurred of Christopher Penny of Ballinacurra, Hospital, Limerick on the 6th May 2020. A former resident of Brother Of Charity, Bawnmore, Limerick.

Christopher passed away unexpectedly at the University Hospital Limerick. Son of the late Johnny and Mary. Sadly missed by his loving family, brothers Paddy, Dick & John, sisters Mary, Betty & Sheila. nieces, nephews, grandnephews, cousins, family and many friends in Bawnmore.

 In compliance with Covid 19 guidelines, Christopher's funeral will be private. A requiem mass will be held this Friday at 11.30am in St. John The Baptist Church, Hospital, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. A memorial mass will take place at a later date.
