CO-SCCC-0054

Record Date:
8 April 2013
Exact wording of epitaph:

Here Lies

In the hope of a

Glorious Resurrection

The Remains of

Catherine

the beloved wife of

John Curtin

She died July 5 1868

Aged 45 years

Pray for the repose of her soul

Her daughter Margret Agnes

died August 28 1862

Aged 2 months

Also her father Thos Cuddigan

died January 5 1866

Aged 86 years

Alas! The Hand that Welcome Gave

Lies Cold Within this silent grave

For gone is she who well could blend

The wife, the mother and the friend

And left us in this world of sighs

To mourn o'er life's uncertain ties

But we will meet no distant day

In a bright and happy home

Where every tear is wiped away

And sorrows pang is never known.
