Pray for the soul of John McCarthy, Liverpool and Sligo who departed this life on 6th January 1863 aged 44 years. May he rest in peace. Here also are deposited the remains of his infant children Florance, Katie and Florance Mary. This monument is erected to the memory of his sorrowing wife Sarah McCarthy who also departed this life January 8th 1874 aged 53 years. To the inexpressible grief of her afflicted children. Of your charity pray for her soul. R.I.P. Here also are deposited the remains of his mother Sarah McCarthy wife of William McCarthy who departed this life on the 11th July 1862 aged 74 yrs. May she rest in peace.
