Revd.. J.P.Clancy together with Revd.Murtough Keane and Revd. J.A.Canon.Barry were buried in the Church yard in the village of New Glanmire, now Glounthaune Village.
They were re-interred in this Church grounds to allow for the construction of the school now the community centre.
