was an Irish Patriot
a cultured gentleman and
a leader in the movement
for the social and political
regeneration of Ireland.
A Felon's Cap
is the noblest crown
An Irish man can wear.
RIGHT SIDE
Incarcerated
In Tullamore Jail 1887
His magnificent physique
succumbed to the horrors
and indignities
inflicted on him and he died
shortly after his release.
Mourned by his Countrymen
