Marks the Burial Place of
Mr. JOHN LOUGHLIN of Aghada Farm
And is sacred to the Memory of his 2nd son
Mr JOHN LOUGHLIN Junr of Hermitage
who died March 1st 1828 aged 23 years

His life though short
was passed in the practise of every active Virtue
And He was so beloved while living
that the surrounding country followed him to his Grave
in sincere and heartfelt sorrow

The Lord have mercy on his soul
