Beneath this stone are inhumed the

remains of Mrs Frances Cartwright

relict of the late Joseph Cartwright

formerly of the Co. of Kilkenny.

She resigned her soul unto her Creator

the 3rd day of February 1827 aged 79 years

in humble hope of a glorious immortality

through the all suffering atonement of her

immaculate Redeemer.

This lady was a faithful and affectionate

parent and sincere friend.

In the performance of every Christian

duty she was excelled by none.

This tomb has been erected by directions

of her only child James Cartright as a

tribute of respect to the memory of his 

honoured and revered mother.
