Surname:
SHAW
Notes:

A R.S. now reused as paving in the Lynch Aisle. The Ins. is in low false relief along the length of the stone and has a small Greek cross before it. It has lozenge-shaped stops between the words. The lower partof the stone, including part of the Ins. was broken and repaired with cement in two places. The top part of the stone has also suffered some damage. John Shaw may be related to the Robert Shaw whose name appears on the Ins. (now in two pieces) onthe piers which occur on either side of the so-called Lynch Memorial Window on the Lombard St. side of the churchyard.
