An address of condolences signed by upwards of one hundred persons was presented to Margaret's father Alexander Me Dowell, Head Constable of the R.I.C. and he was also presented with a ”... mural tablet for erection in the Church of St. Nicholas in remembrance of his lamented daughter.""The tablet which is handsome, and from the establishment of Ballentine, Dublin has been placed in the South Aisle of St. Nicholas". A lozenge-shaped white marble plaque set on a semi-pointed black marble base. The inscription "AND THE DEAD SHALL BE RAISED" also occurs on a separate motto scroll of white marble beneath. The backing bears the following maker's Ins. in the lower right hand comer "A. BALLANTINE 139 UPR DORSET ST DUBLIN".
