A R.S. in good condition though a little worn. Inc’d. Ins. in false relief. A coat of arms occurs over it. The shield bears a chevron and three fleurs-de-lis. Curved foliate mantling ending in tassels occurs on each side of it. Over the shield there is a crest consisting of a helmet and a hand holding a tilting spear (This time not broken, see No. 135). Incised spirals occur as space fillers on the right side of the inscription. For other Montgomery monuments and heraldry see also Nos. 129 and 135.
