Sacred to the memory of William third son of the late Samuel Madden Esq., who died Feb 1801aged ---- years also of Margaret his youngest daughter who died May 21st 1810 aged 56 yrs.
Chest tomb comprising a rectangular cover-slab with a moulded edge over six fluted legs and slate panels between. It is subsiding to the east. The tomb is badly damaged to the west' the top slab is broken in two western legs and the southwestern panel have fallen off. There is decoration on the top slab but it is too worn to make out. The inscription is taken from Buggy (1965, 38) as it is now mostly illegible.
