          Here are deposited the mortal
         remains of Emily the Beloved
             daughter of Thomas
            and Elizabeth Alexander
             who was taken out of the
           world to be with her Saviour
             at the early age of fifteen
          on the 1st day of January 1862

       ‘Remember now thy Creator in the
             days of thy youth that the evil
       days come not nor the years draw
         nigh when thou shalt say I have
              no pleasure in them’
