A railed off area without a headstone, which according to local information, is the burial plot of the O'Connell Family of Coachford.

Here lies interred Jack O'Connell, who was a fettler (a person who performs repair or maintenance work on a railway) with the Cork & Muskerry Light Railway. Also interred are members of the Houlihan family, who were first cousins of the O'Connells, such as Paddy 'Old Head' Houlihan and his brothers Dan and John Houlihan (who died within a day of each other, and were interred in the same grave) and Jim Houlihan. Another interred here is Tim McSweeney of Fergus, who was employed at Cork Docks. (Sources: Southern Star, 11 Dec. 1954; J. Horgan
