Sacred to the memory of James Wylie aged 69 years who on the 10th day of August 1857 full of peace and hope departed this life at Flood Hall where for nearly half a century he enjoyed the confidence of his employers. To patient faith the prize is sure and all who to the end endure the cross shall wear the crown. Also in memory of Catherine, his fifth daughter, who died on the 4th day of February 1856 aged 19 years. Also in memory of John his infant son who died on the 26th day of Oct 1847. Also of John James Murphy his grandson who died 9th day of November 1858 aged 4 months.
