Michael ( Mick ) Condon, born on the 13-05-1896 in Kilfinane, Co. Limerick, was the eight child of thirteen children born to Paul Condon (1860-1911), a tailor and his wife Elizabeth Dunne (1864 - ). Mick Condon was also a tailor in Kilfinane. He married Margaret (Maggie) Torpey (1906-1957), daughter of Michael Torpey (1853-1927) & Mary Nolan (1862-1943) of Darnstown, Emlygrennan, Co. Limerick on the 07-08-1928 in Martinstown RC, Co. Limerick. Maggie Torpey was born on the 03-03-1906. Her death at 51 years old was due to myocarditis & influenza.

Mick Condon (1896-1969) & Maggie Torpey (1906-1957) had ten children, all born in Kilfinane and the  eight surviving children all emigrated to the UK.

1. Mary Elizabeth Condon . 29-05-1929 - 11-06-1929. Delicacy from birth

2. Paul  Condon. 15-06-1930 - 03-02-2008. Died in Ruislip, London. He married Nancy Minshall in 1962 in Willesden, London.

3. Michael  Condon.  11-09-1931. Died in infancy.

4. Michael Joseph ( Mike) Condon. 03-11-1934 - 06-05-2015. He married Rosetta Julia ( Rose ) Horrod ( 1938 - ),daughter of William Horrod (1903-1962) & Rosetta Pluckrose (1901-1978) in St Josephs Hospice Chapel in Hackney, London on the 02-04-1956. Mike Condon of Bracknell, Berks, UK died at St Thomas Hospital, London.

5. Thomas ( Tommy ) Condon. 28-11-1935 - 20-03-2015, Ruislip, London, UK.  He married Suzanne (Susan) McSherry (1932-2018), daughter of Thomas McSherry & Bridget Lynch of Kilnaleck, Co. Cavan  on the 17-05-1958 in Cricklewood Lane RC, London. Susan was born in Kilnaleck on the 31-03-1932 and died in Ruislip, London on the 29-05-2018.

6. Elizabeth Mary (Betty) Condon. 17-05-1937 - 28-05-1997 London. She married firstly Anthony (Tony) Hopley, a policeman in 1965 in Hendon, London. Second marriage was to Alex Ross in 1975 in Haringey, London  and her third marriage was to Ron Gross in 1984 in Brent, London.

7. Edmond ( Eddie ) Condon. 19-10-1938 - 19-05-1990. He married Teresa Lehane in 1961 in Willesden, London. Eddie died of a heart attack while out walking his dog. His death was registered in Enfield. London.

8. Mary (May) Condon. 14-07-1942 - 05-08-2015. She married  Leonard  Horrod (1935 -2004), a brother of Mike Condon's wife Rose Horrod. in Hackney, London on the 26-03-1960.

9. Margaret ( Maggie ) Condon.  26-03-1945 - 02-08-2003. She married  Brian Hill on the 27-11-1965 in Neasden, London. Maggie was interred in North Harrow, London.

10. Catherine ( Kay ) Condon. 20-12-1949 - 18-05-2014. She firstly married  Robert (Bob) Whelan in Brent Lomdon in 1967. Other husbands were Edward Speck 1978, Lee Turner 1987, both in Watford , London  & Geoffrey Bloxham in 2003 in Hendon, London. Kay went to live on the Isle of Wight for a while with her fourth husband. She died, aged 64 of lung cancer and her obituary was in the Watford Observer newspaper.
