The graveyard is in the town of Abbeyleix.
19th - 21st century headstones, mostly upright, some leaning; in mainly good condition. Table tombs leaning with some damaged. The site contains a Church of Ireland church (c. 1865); incorporating fabric of earlier church (c. 1830).
The ground surface is level. Gravel paths to and around the church, but they are becoming moss covered. There are two unlocked gates in the south wall, one from the east and one from the north.
Rubble stone wall along the south and east sides and a hedge along the north and west sides. Boundary intact, c. 1m high. There are railings at the gate.
