The graveyard is in rural area, on low rise, surrounded by undulating pasture land. Two other graveyards are also located within the townland of Clonenagh.

Graveyard contains a few uninscribed grave markers, most are upright with a few overgrown and leaning.
Graveyard boundaries are made up of a slight earthen bank and ditch and part stone wall; graveyard grounds located on a small hilltop. No paths. Grass not regularly mown.
