Opened as a cemetery in 1836 and located on the site of an earlier city park, the Glasgow Necropolis is a Victorian cemetery of international significance. This survey was conducted as a training workshop collaboration between Archaeology Scotland, the Friends of the Glasgow Necropolis and Historic Graves. Section SIgma was surveyed by a small team on 24th May 2014 and a selection of the grave memorial records are published here.
