Clonenagh East

The site of a church on a low hill or mound in the east of Clonenagh townland is locally thought ot be a burial round. There is a tradition that there were at one time seven churches in Clonenagh, and this tradition may have become confused with seven burial grounds. However, the possibility remains of some burials at the old church site.
