The graveyard is in rural area, surrounded by crop and pasture land, adjacent stream to northeast.
Graveyard contains no upstanding structures. Marked on 1841 OS map as 'Clonmeen Burial Ground'. Possible site of medieval church dedicated to St Kieran. No visible surface trace of church. A bullaun stone is located immediately outside boundary wall to northeast.
Graveyard contains visible 20th to 21st century headstones, metal crosses and a substantial number of small uninscribed markers.
Graveyard has rectangular shape; boundary stone wall intact, c. 1m high. No paths; access to site across fields through gate. Ground surface uneven; ground moderately maintained and grass high.
