Facing East: Sacred to the memory of Samuel Freeman who departed this life on the 21st day of February Anno Domini 1824 and in the 80th year of his age. He endured a painful illness with resignation to the divine will relying on the mercy of his Redeemer. He had a most cheerful disposition and a memory almost unrivalled. He was a kind friend, a most indulgent and generous landlord. Amongst several bequests he left to the poor of this parish the sum of twenty pounds and to the parish of Temple Michael where he formerly resided, the sum of five pounds.
Facing North: This mausoleum was ordered to be erected by Mary Salter Armstrong as a tribute of duty and affection to the memory of her departed father.
Facing West:In loving and affectionate memory of Kate Beresford Freeman who departed this life August 30th 1909. In loving and affectionate memory of J.T. Armstrong a very kindly man who departed this life February 19th 1952.
Facing South:The Lord is my shepherd therefore can I lack nothing. Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil for thou art with me. Thy rod and thy staff comfort me.
