Here rest the remains of Lily Ann wife of Revd Edward Loftus Fitzgerald M.A. Rector of Ardagh Co Cork, and only daughter of Edward Maxwell Esq. of Ballyrotty Co Dublin, a judge in India, who departed this life the 21st of January 1859 aged 32 years. Also of two of her children Elizabeth and Annie Frances who died in early childhood. Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Ps 11.Ch15.”
Second stone on this grave: “In memory of Maria Louisa McGillicuddy who died 7th August 1839 aged 85 years. Erected by her nephews Loftus and Maxwell Arnott
There is also a window dedicated to Lily anna Fitzgerald in the South aisle of the adjoining St Mary's Collegiate Church., which reads "This window was erected to the glory of God and in memory of the Reverend Edward Loftus Fitzgerald M.A. who died December 17th 1885, and of Lily Anna Fitzgerald his wife who died January 21st 1859, by their daughter Emily Jane Arnott.
