This stone was erected by

Thomas Grainger Macroom

to the memory of his

beloved daughter Janette

who died in Youghal

on the 29th day of October 1842

aged 5 years.

She was a child of peculiar amiability and promise. Tho here in earth her body lies, her spirit lives above the skies. 

Be not slothful but followers of them who thro’ faith and patience inherit the promises. Hebrews 6th ch.12th verse.
