Front, facing East: Erected by Alice Green to the memory of her husband Alderman Edward Green, for many years Captain & Paymaster of the Youghal Yeomanry, died 22nd Sept 1826 aged 68 years. Of her son Roger Green, Collector of Kinsale, died 17th June 1833 aged 41 years and her son Richard Green died 27th March 1822 aged 10 years.
Side facing North: Here also are deposited the remains of Alice, relict of the late Edward Green, by whom this monument was erected. She departed this life the 16th of February 1845 aged 73 years. Also of her son John Green Esq. died 19th Nov 1874 aged 77 years, and Catherine Green who died 26th May 1882 aged 78 years.
Side facing West: Here also are deposited the remains of Alice Green of Youghal, younger daughter of Samuel Green who died the 4th of Dec 1941 aged 101 years. Full of good works and much beloved.
Side facing South: Here also are deposited, in sure and certain hope of the resurrection to everlasting life through Our Lord Jesus Christ, the remains of Samuel Green Esq. of Youghal, third son of the same Alderman Edward Green who departed this life January 16th 1851 aged 45 years. Also Samuel J Green his son died 19th Jany 1867 aged 30 years. Also his wife Susan died 16th Aug 1883 aged 78. S.A. Green died 9 March 1886 aged 20.
