In the 1911 Census Timothy Lucey, 58, a farmer is listed as head of a family that included his wife Eliza, 42, daughters Nora and Margaret, and sons Dan, Michael and Patrick.

Patrick (Paddy) Lucey ,who moved from Shandangan House to Midleton, is also buried in this grave. Paddy's brother Rev. Fr. Daniel Lucey, who served in the Maynooth Mission to China, was buried in St. Columba's College Cemetery, Navan, on 17th Dec., 1979.

Shandangan House is located at Whitegate Crossroads in Shandangan West. It was occupied by Samuel Penrose at the time of Griffith's Valuation (1852).
