In the death notice on the Cork Examiner it says Mary Lynch (Late Barry), Killinardrish.
In the 1901 Census Mary Barry, 46, a widow, Barrack servant, is recorded as living in Bawnatemple. Her son John Barry, 11, lived with her. The Army records states that a John Barry was killed by a mine explosion in the North Sea on 26th Dec., 1915, age 25, son of Mary Lynch (formerly Barry), and the late Richard Barry.
In the 1911 Census Mary Lynch, 58, is recorded as living with her husband Jeremiah Lynch, 72, in Shandangan West. They had been married for three years.
In the register of grave purchases for Cannaway Graveyard it is recorded that a 9/4 grave was purchased on 24-3-1937 by Miss Lynch, Cannaway, for £1.
